Ok its my first time getting filing for financial aide I filled the application one month ago my EFC is zero and its signed by both of my parents.. What is the next step? Will My school Financial aide off call me? What normally happens? I'm anxious to Know, It says I'm eligible But when will I know when I'll have the money from the financial Aide? Also will I always have to make A's in class to keep getting the finanical aide?

If you have already filed with the school and wtih FASFA then you just wait patiently. You don't recieve any calls from your school, in September you will recieve your check, usually a few weeks after the start of the new semester. As for your grades you need to keep it to at least a 2.0 GPA and don't drop any classes. You'll get put on prohibition for that.

Your school, or schools depending on how many school ids you entered will contact you with financial aid award packages. Then you know how much you get.

No there is a GPA limit but I believe it is 2.0 or C average. There is also a rule that you must get a passing grade on so many classes, out of what you attempted, so you must keep a certain ratio. You do not need A's, but you cannot fail repeatedly. It also depends on your school fin aid policy. I had one school let me take the same class as many times till I passed it, another you had one chance then wen to n fin aid warning and had to pay yourself and pass before you could get fin aid again. So read about your school policies.

I also filled out the FASFA form and qualified for grants. You can call your financial aid councilor and they should be able to give you an update by now. And no you do not have to make straight A's either. You do have a grade obligation though. I believe it is either a GPA of 2.0 or 3.0 talk to your councilor for more information on that though. They will know. I have a 4.0 so this is something I have never worried about. If you do not qualify for full aid then you can get deferred student loans. This means you do not have to pay anything until 6 months after you graduate. I went with Sallie Mae. It is a great company. They gave me more than what I actually needed. They send you a check in the mail for the difference. You can either cash it or give it back if you do not want to repay that amount later. The interest is not high either with them so that is why I picked them. Good luck with school!!!

Go to the school and find out. You can try calling, but good luck getting an answer. Don't wait on anybody for this, you'll end up never knowing. The normal process is go to the school, pick a number and wait for a financial counselor to speak with you.

by the way, when you go bring with you your parent's taxes, a copy of your FAFSA that you submitted, and any supporting documentation. Are your parents divorced? They may ask for divorce papers, but I don't know how things have changed today. You are also able to apply for Work/Study, but it's needs based and firstcome first served. Go to the school, and ask.

Are you going out of state? Then you need to pick up that phone and be really patient.

If you're eligible, you'll receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) after a few days, then you can always log in to see the status of your case, change information, etc. You will only be paid the money at the beginning of each semester. when it pays all your tuition, etc, the remaining will be wired to your bank account or check mailed to you.
No, you don't have to have As to be eligible, it mostly depends on how rich your parents are and how many hours you're taking in school
