Im an international student, came here in 2001 on student Visa. Graduated with BBA/IT degree from NY. Now Im on my H1b, totally jobless for the past 6 months. I only have an year left on my work visa so Im wondering that I should persue for the masters. That way I will get a degree and also a student visa to lemme stay here. But Im jobless and depending on my parents who arent so rich too. I remember I wasnt allowed financial aid when I was in college in NY and Im not sure I will get now. can someone tell me if I can apply for scholarship being on H1b. Is student loan better then financial aid? is it a good idea to persue for a degree while Im jobless? Im confused so I thought someone might be able to help me.
