I'm a new student at the University of Phoenix I started there May 25th and got loans and a grant to pay for all my schooling. I received a check for my remainder of my loan that was left over and I've been expecting a check for my grant which hasn't come yet. I live in Seattle, WA and the check was mailed Friday June 5th and today is Friday June 12th. For those of you who have gotten grant checks before how long does it usually take? I got my loan check on Monday in the mail. I figured my grant should of been here by now since its only being sent from Arizona.
I was told by my adivsor that I have $2,366 check coming to me for the remainder of my money for the semster or quarter whatever UofP goes by.
If it helps at all my loan covered my schooling for the this disbursement I got under $500 back out of the $5,000 i got for it plus an extra $2,366 for my grant according to my letter from FSFA. And on teh site it says I have a refund of $2,366 which is my grant under my account info on my school site.
