Financial aid question... 10 pts best answer?

if you sign a promissory note for a 4 year school but end up taking a few classes 1 semester at a 2 year does it change the amount of your loan that u sign for? i was to begin classes at a 4 year but missed the deadline but aid n everything is ready for me for next semester... however on the fasfa n loan terms it stated fall and spring... can i use that aid at another college like a 2 year or will it have to be a 4 year in order to get the exact amount?
