last year I had a mix up with some instructors who were supposed to drop me and instead they gave me F's in my classes. My mom had a tumor removed and I had to stay home with her after her surgery 24 hours so I couldn't attend classes and now I'm very behind. Since my instructors failed me instead of a W drop, I can't get financial aid and I need it to attend. Our house was forclosed on, we have no money but I need to stay in school. I know what I want to do with my life, I want to be a teacher and already work in the field just need a degree. Does anyone know of a LEGIT financial aid site, grant site, ANYTHING, that will finance me through college with my low GPA, I will get it back up, I just need to be in class in order to do so

in this case i would say go to your school's financial aid office and talk to them, there is an appeal form which u need to fill and put all these things that happened to you and explain to them in the form.they will likely let you again. it happened to me last quarter i had muscle problem and couldn't walk for 4 weeks and my instructor gave me N/C instead of W and i got appeal and now i am recieving financial aid. if that don't work i would say take break from school,get work and save up some money to get back on track.good luck
