Okay ... I am having some serious problems with my Financial Aid ..
I have been in school since January 09 and everything was fine .. I took the summer off to go be with some family .. I just registered for my fall classes on August 2 (classes start September 30) and it said that my aid was excepted .. I received 1,338.00 for the fall and when I was signing up online that's what it said my current aid was ... Okay I get all my classes...everything is paid for and fine and dandy
.. it even shows me how much money I have left over .. Then I realize that I accidentally signed up for a class that I already took .. So I dropped it .. Everything was still fine ... Then ... ...
The next day I go back in to print out my schedule .. and now EVERYTHING has changed ... my available aid is now only $335 which is barely enough for one class ! .. and now it says that I owe ... big time ! ... ...
I go up to my school and they told me that because I dropped those classes that I already took, that's why my aid changed ...
But to go from 1,338.00 to $335 .. that's crazy !
Tuition is supposed to be 100% refundable right ? .. especially if its before the semester starts ..
The amount that the classes that I dropped comes to is only a couple hundred dollars ... so I should have wayyyyy more than that ..Right ?
Can somebody Pleasssseeeee explain this to me ?
