summer and spring semesters too? I attend Tarrant County College and Financial Aid gives me money to help pay for it. At the beginning of the Fall semester I received $1200 for attending full time (4 classes / 12 hrs). My classes only cost me $600 and my books only cost me around $175. That leaves roughly $425. Is that to be used to pay for my summer and spring semesters' classes and books too or can I file for Financial Aid for those semesters separately? I don't mind paying out of pocket for some classes but the extra money REALLY helps.

Generally what most colleges do is they give you your aid in separate sums.
That $1200 is for fall only.
You will probably get another $1200 for spring.
And some for summer as well.

However, before you spend the extra (because that extra you CAN do as you like with) I would check with Tarrant County College's financial aid office just to double check. They will be happy to help clarify any of your questions and it's always, always, always better to be safe than sorry.
