My parents currently make about $60,000 a year, and I've been waitlisted for Cornell University. I've heard that Cornell gives significant financial aid / scholarships to students from low-income families. Is that the case, and if so, how much would someone like me most likely receive if I get admitted?
I'm asking because my backup college, which has already accepted me, costs about $6,000 a quarter. If I'm going to go to Cornell, I want to pay less than that amount.
