My parents are divorced, and I am a junior in High School. My mother previously had shared legal custody with my father, however my dad just applied and got full legal custody of me. My mother has a very good finical income, while my dad much less income. My mother will not pay for my college, and I am worried that the schools will see both parents instead of just my father, who cannot pay for my college. I want to apply for scholarships for finincial aid, but will they deny it to me because of my mothers income?
Do colleges look at both parents? Is this a uniform rule?
