Financial Aid +FIU QUESTION?

I'm an out-of-state senior with hopes of attending FIU, i live in NJ. I live with a single-mother and her income is really low. She attended community college like a year ago and FAFSA covered all her expenses. The FIU out-of-state tuition is $1600+ and I was wondering if FAFSA will cover the whole year or just a portion, since I'm and out-of-state student,
