I'm 21, i currently live with my mother, i plan to move out in a few months into my own place with a roommate. right now I'm receiving financial aid as a dependent and was wondering if i would still have to apply as a dependent if I move and make a living on my own working full time and going to school and not relying on financial support from my mother? would having a parent close to retirement age(65) play a factor? if not wat ways i can become a independent?
