Financial aid and name change question?

I am applying for a college, and I am applying for financial aid on collegeboard.com, FAFSA, CSS etc. I'm confused whether or not to use my old name, or my name now. Since my old name is what I have previously used to fill out the FAFSA, but my SAT scores are under my old name. The names are completely different, and in fact different genders, the reason I changed it was because of my sex change. I'm very confused where to use my legal name, or my old name when it comes to financial aid forms.

For the FAFSA, you need to list it EXACTLY as it appears on your social security card. I recommend doing this because it takes ages for the Soc Security office to update anything and this way wont delay your aid. After you submit the fafsa work with the Social Security office to get your social security card updated/current if it is not.

Also, depending on your age and your current gender, you may be required to register for Selective Service or provide to the schools financial aid office documentation that you were not required to register for selective service because of your gender. (All males must register with selective service when they are 18, if you did not -because you were female at the time- this will show up as an error on your fafsa).
