well got arround to taking pics of the old intruder:twisted:! thanks for all the past help getting this old thing running. hope yall like the pics!

I'm not sure what efforts you put into gettin her to run, but you should be proud. You've got one sweet looking machine there. :bluethum:

well unfortunatly it took about a grand just to get her running good. and ive still got to replace the fork seals to be in tip top shape so thats about 170$ cause i dont think i can tackle that one on my own. but took a good month to get every thing done. plus i added foward controls saddle bags new bars new radiator front tire battery rectifier regulator windshield and the list goes on. im not to fond of the saddlebag look but for the riding i do their a must. ill get a pick if the bars up today.:bluethum:

by the way atlas68 how do ya like living in canada? ive been to Vancouver and cold lake canada both great places. I wouldent mind living their someday.

I love the outdoors...and Vancouver pretty much has it all. Unfortunately, this well kept secret is making headlines. Infrastructure is getting noticeably congested and real estate is going nuts. I've lived in Florida in my late teens and found myself longing for thick forests and mountain streams. I'm here to stay.

Nice ride, glad you got her running right!

I spent the last four days riding around NC. Had a great time, other than a flat tire thanks to a 16-penny nail. I got a tow back to a Harley shop in Andrews, and they had me back on the road in an hour.

Actually fork seals are fairly easy to replace with the type of forks you have. Seals cost ya bout 15-20 bucks tops I would imagine.

drbob where abouts were ya riding? I was all over the place this last couple of weeks the weather has been ok maby ill have to meet up with ya some time your arround.:bluethum:

I rode for three days, up 19 from Atlanta, took 129 to the Cherohala Skyway, came back down 129 to 28, took 28 past Fontana, rode on a bunch of little roads around Lake Fontana, headed to Bryson City, took 74 to Andrews, headed up 28 to 19, took 209 up to Hot Springs, took 70 back down to Asheville, went up 151 to the BRP to Maggie Valley...even hit 64 though Highlands and Chimney Rock. I head up there all the time just to ride around, ever with a plan or a map. I just go exploring.

Where abouts are you?
