Final red band trailer for Beowulf

It's Zemeckis doing what he did with Monster House and Polar Express. That shot of Beowulf up close at the beginning...very well done, I admit.

Wait what the hell? When did this movie turn into a violent one? What else is R-level about this? I need to find a zip code / birthdate to use T.T

Thought it was based off a series of books?

Said they needed to verify the information.

I don't get why they go to such great lengths; I don't think I know of any other site that cared this much about restriction.

English major mode NO SOUP FOR YOU!

Hmm. It worked for me. Really, red band trailers are an interesting idea.

LOL! What did he, freaking leave the room? Perhaps not read the R-rating? Want to kill someone afterwards? Or are you just making that up :p? Ah, what an experience it must have been.

True story. He watched it with me and might have fast forwarded through the...raunchier parts, but we watched the whole movie. (I remembered the final Taarna segment pretty well.) He was embarrassed, but I wasn't really fazed by it. I was young, but just old enough to know that women on dragons with big stabby swords are awesome.

It'll be interesting to see how Beowulf does. Aside from ratings-unobservant parents, I can imagine a lot of viewers who'll buy tickets and then get mad when they realize they've been "tricked" into seeing a cartoon.

It's not letting me in. Saying it's having technical problems.
I use to be angry on how this movie was over-realistic mo-cap, but now I see that it's rated R, it makes a lot of sense because people wouldn't want to see it otherwise.
I can't wait to see the trailer.

Wait a sec. This is a red-band trailer, but they said they were editting the movie to a PG-13.

So the studio forced them to censor out tons of dialog for nothing?
