Final Fantasy XII 10/31/06 (USA Release)

i've heard good things... ill get my copy sometime this week. no, the characters dont walk off like a comic strip anymore... & no more random battles, you can see the enemies! no more walking & battling after every 5 steps! this alone makes it the best FF game evar
 
ive owned 4 different copies of this and at this moment i still have all 4 in different and various stages. i.e. one has all disks but is scratched. one is missing some disks. one is only second disk. and the last is complete. gamestop sale. 9.99 ftw
 
ive also heard that this is the best final fantasy as well.... amazing story, amazing graphics & gameplay... ill find out for myself at the end of the month. im really sick of the faggoty main characters though... first tidus, now this dude
 
Sounds like it has been "Zelda'd". I hope that Hollywood Video gets a copy so I can test drive it before I buy. Like I said, I got FF X and wish I hadn't. And the only reason I got it was because Hollywood Video didn't have one in stock. (Chances are that it was scratched to the point where it had to be thrown away. Yes, in hindsight I should have joined my local Blockbusters if they had it for rental. Next time.)
 
No it isn't quite like Zelda... it still has an Active Time system, it's just real time and you can move around. You have to play it to see what I mean, it's hard to explain

I just started the game... so far, so good. I'm in the Giza Desert trying to find some kid, but I got in 1 hit by some huge green lizard/dinosaur guy with a huge sword
 
Yeah I might NERD it up for the first time. I've never stood outside for an early release of anything. Depends on what night of the week it is I guess Monday
 
its a FULL 3D world map, you can move the camera with the right analogue stick. it takes a bit to get used to cuz the camera cuz it always goes in the opposite direction you want it to if you dont use the stick but it's easy to sink into
