Final Destination!

It was meant to be on recently but was postponed due to Ken Bigley being beheaded-it was felt it couldn't be shown because of the decapitation scene on the railway level crossing. It's now scheduled for this Friday,7th,at 11.05pm on BBC1

i am going out to buy one and two tomorrow as i was camping when the first one was on. i was wondering whether they are horror cause of the violene or because they have a strong supernatural plot (as in ghosts or some crap like that)

I've only seen the second one, which I think is good until the end, when they completely disregard the rule they've been spouting all throughout the film. The whole point of it is that Death has marked you and you can't escape it no matter what you do. Until the end, when the two survivors do exactly that. So it appears that you can escape Death after all

I watched no1 on bbc 1 with parents. We laughed quite a bit, but I maint that the first 20 minutes is terrifying. My dad even grunted when the plane blewup when they were arguing which means he was impressed.

I really liked the first one... The second one had a lot to live (or die) up to and it just didn't do it for me... but this third one has James Wong and Glen Morgan (from the first but not the second) so it'll definately have more of an X-Files feel to it. That plane crash, first time I ever saw the film, made me cry with terror! I have never flown and really never intend to after I saw that, LMAO!

Both of the films were a good laugh. Whilst the first one tuned into that post-modern 'Scream'-esque vibe, the second one went for out and out in-your-face kitschness, which really appealled to my sense of humour ;) :) :D

glen morgan and james wong were the directors/producers. started off directing episodes of the x files before turning to film. wong went on to direct mission: impossible 2 i think

as for final destination- the first one was a classic in the teen horror genre.
i remember the adverts showing reactions by the audience to things happeing on screen n thought it was faked- but then i saw it and two worRAB- THE BUS!!!!!
only time i've ever jumped outta my seat durin a film- fanatastic!

the whole thing was very clever n the death scenes were well thought out.
the second had its moments but seemed to just be filler beweeneach elaborate death scene

(oh, n bigstunnerdude was right- the main character from film 1 played by devon sawa- who also played stan in eminems video- was killed by a brick between the two films. obv he didnt want to make a sequel n they had to think of a reaon for him to noot be int the 2nd!)

i have just finished watching the second, i dunno which is better as they both made me cringe. the worst was the injection, you could just guess what was going to happen but the writters did the intellegent thing and made it happen in a differnent way. i wouldn't call them horrors tho, they made me jump but there wasn't anything desturving or shocking that you would expect them to have.

did you see in the first they don't show you the girl after she's been hit by the bus BUT they did film it - they thought it was too gross and cut it. however in the 2nd there's a bit where the lead girl from the first is looking at a load of clippings of deaths from the first and you actually see the dead girl - they slipped it in
