saw this as part of C4's "Shriek week" and was pleasantly surprised. was not expecting the guy from American Pie to get it though, I was sure he would live on for the sequel.
Pretty poor I thought. The plane crash at the start was very good, but it went downhill from then onwarRAB, and the death scenes just made me laugh they were so far fetched.
Exulus is right, the deaths are meant to be far-fetched; it's a comedy-horror flick, not a documentary!
I thought FD2 was absolutely excellent - I thought the running theme behind it (ie. death is catching up with people who should have died were it not for the people who should have died in the plane crash staying alive and keepign THEM alive) was very clever and it was just as funny, and creepy, as the first.
I have to say number 2 was a lot more gory I'll just mention the kid...!
Also i suppose FD2 was better in the way it led you to falsely believe someone was going to die one way....and for them pretty much almost dieing..and then they end up dieing in a completly different way (the kid again!).
