Final Destination 3

I saw Final Destination 3 at Odeon in Warrington with my sister and her boyfriend and it scared the hell out of us.

But i found some of the death scenes a bit fake.

This contains spoilers

After you watched behind the scenes from part 1 and 2 you will obviously know that they use dummies for the death scenes. But there is one scene i found a bit fake, thats when one of the girls got all the nails in her head, remember that one?. I just thought it was fake, but it was very good.

I just think i might be getting bored with these death scenes they do in movies because i just know exactly how its all done. I am impressed with final destination 3 and the rollercoaster scene was amazing i just know its all fake and stuff.

Well obviously i know they are not going to use a real life human to kill on screen, but at least try there best not to make it look fake, anyone else felt like there where some fake death scenes?.

i thought it was funny, didnt jump once when a friend advised and guranted i would. ah well i was accused of being sick again :p (i laughed when the baby got blown up in dawn of the dead by the shotgun).

a good film, didnt actually think i would like it tho. its been popular in newcastle u lyme sold out for a few days now

While the first two films were inventive and played with the genre successfully, this one is just a brainless stream of set piece death scenes, with zero tension.

The deaths were laughable and that stuff with the camera totally lame.

We did laugh a fair bit (& not just at the inflated price of the nachos) but for all the wrong reasons.

I remember this was the first 15 rated film I saw in a cinema , it was so exciting , I felt like a grown up at the time :p

It's become like Saw now though where they just focus on how gory they can get as opposed to any real storylines.

It's still an inventive series for the kills, that's part of the 'fun' with the Final Destination movies, working out how the characters could be killed off and it's a nice mix of horror and comedy. Still a creepy series thanks to the can't stop death element. I can't stand rollercoasters, so the third was just urgh.

The fourth(Death Trip) is coming out soon and it's going to be a 3D release, so will be very interested to see how that looks on the big screen, not sure what the big accident is at the start, think it's something to do with racing cars?
