Final Destination 3 countdown

I thought one was enough. What's the point? Its the same story told over and over again. Its the same with movies like Elm St, Friday the 13th and Halloween.
I refuse to watch Saw 2. The first one was brilliant, great twist at the end and it should be left that way. ;)

I would normally agree with you. But, for a sequel, FD2 was really good ! It surprised me. Saw 2 is a lot darker. Original is still the best but I thought saw2 just about worked (though my wife didn't).

Wasn't until I watched FD2 again last night that I realised the Love Soup bloke was in it ! Odd that I didnt recognise him when Love Soup was on BBC. He must have a forgettable face as he has a major role in it really

The Whole point is because people well some people get excited over sequels. I also love final destination 1 and 2, and the reason why i am going to see the 3rd one is because of the rollercoaster accident, it better be good. Its not just the same old stories, the 1st and 2second had different storylines and different accidents, the 3rd one will have loaRAB more different accidents. The only thing they keep on dragging is the crash of flight 180 keep in mind that flight 180 is what kicked of this final destination series. Its like september 9/11 how many times has that been mentioned, in films, documentries etc hey there is even a film coming out this year called flight 93 which is about 9/11. I like the idea that they bring in new actors and not like many movies where they keep using the same actor like in the horror series Scream, that sindy characters is a bit boring to be now. So they are bringing in new actors and characters in, and they should keep on doing that because its more intresting in that way. The only good thing about the final destination movies i have to admit is about the special effects, i dont think anyone really cares what the story is about as long as they get to see some gore on the screen, and thats what final destination 3 is going to do.

Something that occured to me about FD2. Some of the accidents were triggered by a completely paranormal action. In my opinion these kinda spoiled it. I prefer the sort of chain-reaction incidents that are maybe started by just a slight gust of wind say rolling a cigarette butt to some petrol, then so on. Or a flock of pigeons distracting a crane operator.

The one in the hospital where the ventilator started rolling away from the bed (on level ground) kinda went against this and spoil it.

The point of Final Destination is the fact it is for entertainment purposes, it's a comedy thriller, never meant to be taken seriously, and for people who love totally over-the-top hilarious ways to kill off a cast of unknowns.

So far, on rottentomatoes.com, the movie has 9 positive reviews and 5 negative. It will continue to update as more critics add their review so check it out if you want to see how it fares with the critics.

I saw FD1 and absolutely loved it, and it scared me!

I haven't seen FD2 yet. I'd imagined it would be nowhere near as good as the original. How does it compare?

The original i thought was very good but now to me it seems a bit boring, i dont know why though. Maybe i have seen the first one so many times i have lost count. I loved the second one because it had new actors and a new story to it. I found it alot better then number 1, i hope there is a number 4.
