Final Astro Boy Theatrical Trailer

But here's the difference between You & I...It's You & I! You think it doesn't give the feel of Astro Boy. But I do feel the feeling of Astro Boy.

No one is right or wrong.

Which is why I never claimed anyone was right or wrong, only that I will pass on it because I don't get the feel of Astro Boy from it.

Yeah i'm wish King in that it does feel like Astro Boy, at least it feels enough like it to make me want to watch the whole thing.

But hey not every one has to feel that way.

I know this sounRAB strange, but...exactly which version of Astro Boy did you two watch/see?

Frankly, I don't see Astro Boy in this trailer, just a typical, clumsy kid superhero like every other kid superhero ever made, who simply happens to look like Astro Boy and happens to have his powers.

I have read the original manga, seen episodes of the first series, and episodes of the remakes too.

Really the teasers don't give me that much information. It does not tell me "it's Astro boy" but it does not scream, "generic movie with Astro boy paint" ether. I don't know if thats a good or bad thing.

I admit that the longer trailers did not live up to the hype of the first teaser, but I still have hope for this movie.

The problem is, no matter how you slice it, the kid is not Astro Boy. He looks like him, he has his powers, but he acts like a random kid who suddenly became a superhero.

Astro should be a robot dealing with a human world, not a human learning how to deal with being a robot.

The trailers can't really lie about the scene where he screws up while flying...or gets knocked out by the recoil of his own arm cannons...or his surprise at finding he has the classic machine guns. Unless those scenes are absent from the movie or considerably different, they're all pretty out of character for Astro Boy in all of his previous incarnations.

Some trailers does give ppl the wrong idea at times. About everyone I know thought “I AM LEGEND” was going to be I full out action movie. Until they found out its not, most were pretty mad. (But I love that movie).

My point is, don't judge a book by its cover.

Unless these three scenes explicitly don't happen in the movie and it's entirely in the same tone as the teaser, then I see little the trailer could really do besides show them.

All I'm expecting is a good kiRAB movie. I know fans will complain, but whatever. Even if Japan was handling this film, fans will still complain.

I'm hoping for ok. If its decent, that will be great. But ok is good too.
