Final “King Of The Hill” Episodes Will Air Sept. 13th at 8 PM

Meh, at least the banned episode has the chance of seeing the light of day, be it on Adult Swim or DVD. King of the Hill can't get those final episodes on DVD, so their only option is Adult Swim...hopefully they'll air it, because this is just ridiculous.

This baffles me. Do middling TV shows like Wings really have enough of a following to get every season released on DVD, but not KOTH? Then again, Amazing Stories only ran two seasons, yet it's been over 3 years since season one came out, and still no news of the second season being released. :crying:

I don't see why they can't just air these episodes instead of the reruns they usually put on Sundays. FOX already paid to make them. Why not just put them on TV?

They were discontinued!?
Crap! I missed a bunch of season 12 episodes because I didn't have a TV when they aired and I was hoping to catch up with them on DVD (mainly the one where Luann had her baby). :crying:

Exactly. Lest we not forget that Season 4 of Mork and Mindy has yet to be released on DVD if that ever happens, and it's been nearly two years since Season 3 was released on DVD, and I'm NOT about to buy the bootleg boxed set that's been circling over the internet just to see them Honeymooning on Ork or when they give birth to Johnathan Winters. [Yes, I am a Mork and Mindy Fan and have Seasons 1-3 on DVD already.]

However, it's good to hear that the final episodes will get to see the light of day on FOX.

In fairness, I was working at a video retailer when this came out on DVD; dude, the first season just flat-out didn't sell. I believe we got a total of one reservation for it...yeah, that's not usually a good sign.

Reason being...the first season honestly wasn't that good. And since no one would buy a show's crappy first season, no seasons followed.

They could always replace the music with stock music; Malcom's not really a show where music seems like it would be so important, unlike say WKRP in Cincinnati, or The Wonder Years.

FOX aired THREE crappy Simpsons repeats last Sunday night and didn't even air King of the Hill at all. Why not burn off the last two episodes right now and get it over the with?

Jeez, FOX.
