Final “King Of The Hill” Episodes Will Air Sept. 13th at 8 PM

Despite earlier reports that we would be seeing the final episodes of “King Of The Hill” on Fox, it now appears that such is not going to occur. It is now being reported that one of the executives said that it is “unlikely” that the final episodes will air on the network.

I hope [Adult Swim] will be able to air them before people lose interest in seeing how it all ends.

If anything, AS wile use the existence of FOX-unaired episodes to hype the show and attempt to boost ratings for their broadcast. They did it before with that episode of Family Guy (and likely will again with next season's banned episode).

I pretty much expected this when KotH wasn't on Fox's fall schedule.

Tell me again why they bothered funding these last episodes?

Yes, it sure seems like a good way to lose some money. Isn't News Corp. losing plenty of money as it is? Isn't that why Murdoch wants to charge us to view FoxNews.com and WSJ.com?

Rupert Murdoch has nothing to do with why the Fox televison network won't air KOTH. It's like blaming Bill Gates for why a Microsoft store doesn't have a certain USB cord.

What a wonderful way to treat a show that's been around for well over a decade. Don't let it actually finish it's run. Just end it a few (completed) episodes short of actual closure. That's ok. The people who enjoyed the show won't complain.

If this channel wasn't airing Family Guy I'd have no reason to watch it. I don't really even have to watch FG on FOX when you think about it, since you can see the new episodes on Hulu the day after they air.

Took the words right out of my mouth, DG. If it wasn't for the handful of shows on Sunday, I wouldn't be watching this network at all.

And in a few years (maybe even months), I probably won't be watching it at all.

Oh come on.

Is it really that difficult to air 6 little episodes and let the show end properly? It doesn't even need to air on Sundays if they don't want it to.

I'm just hoping they'll air before the end of the year. I get the feeling that if they do air, they'll be burned off around November or so.

Ahhh, frustration.

Considering I don't have cable TV and thus, no Adult Swim, I do have some finger crossing hope that they will consider putting it up on their official website for non-cable viewers like me to see (provided Adult Swim will air it in their own channel first). I want some KOTH closure, durn it.

I don't care enough about American Dad to go out of my way to catch new episodes while The Cleveland Show hasn't gotten me very excited. At best I'll probably catch episodes on Hulu (or some other service) depending depends on what I hear people say about it. I'm done watching The Simpsons and King of the Hill is over.

So yeah, if I wasn't so intent on catching new Family Guys the instant they air I wouldn't watch FOX on Sunday nights anymore.

Wow, Fox, I guess you don't like having money, otherwise you wouldn't have spent it on 6 extra episodes of KOTH. Luckily, if these things air of Adult Swim, I might be happy about it.
