What's The Rum Diary about? I think Johnny Depp stars, right? :look:

Same here. :yay: I've heard rave reviews from people who watched the leaked version some weeks ago. And I flipping love Gambit and adore Taylor Kitsch on FNL. :D

And a movie that I'm also looking forward to is 17 Again, though not nearly as much as I'm anticipating Wolverine. I'm not much of a Zac Efron fan and the premise of the movie is hardly original, but the trailer for this movie looks hilarious. Looks like I'll be catching the movie on opening night with some girlfriends.

serenity
flight plan
murderball
brokeback mountain
into the blue--because I love paul walker!!!!!!!!!

and saw II, even though the first one scared the crap out of me!

:star: Corpse Bride
- I love Burton, I love Depp, and I love stories like these. It's just my kind of film.
:star: Pride and Prejudice
- I really like Keira Knightley, and the trailer just caught my eye and made me want to see the film.
:star: Legend of Zorro
- I saw the first one and own it on DVD.
:star: Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire
- I'm an HP fan, and even though I'm more of a casual one, I follow the films and enjoy them. Still, there probably won't be enough of the adult characters in it for my taste. I'm always more interested in the adult characters than the kids.

I have quite a few I want to see. The newest is Land of the Lost, which I'm guessing won't be available to me for at least six months, or more *sigh* But, it's gonna be so much fun when I can go and see it! I'm actually concidering seeing it at the cinema, which I rarely if ever do anymore. It's just to expensive. But, this might be worth it. If I can gather some friends, and then afterwards we'll eat soemthing and just talk... yeah, definitively :D

So teh reason I want to see that is because Anna Friel is in it, and Will Ferrell. But mainly 'cause of Anna ;) And it seems really fun, strange and weird, but oh so fun xD

Other movies are Miss Pettigrew Lives For A Day, Soldier's Girl, Possession, Mama Mia, Twilight, and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants :)

CORPSE BRIDE (I love Tim Burton's films)
MATCH POINT (Woody Allen again at his best, the critics are saying)
BREAKFAST ON PLUTO (the 70s, fantastic decade)

I will add some more later...

'sarah silverman: jesus is magic'......i saw the trailer for this film a couple of months back, right before a showing of the movie 'the aristocrats'.....it looks interesting.....i'd post the trailer, but it might offend some readers of this thread.....without looking to hard it's easily obtainable online......

If Margaret Cho can do it then by God, so can Sarah Silverman.

The foul-mouthed comedian seeks to disprove the notion that she is a one joke comedian with this, the theatrical adaptation of her off-Broadyway show. The movie will be more that, though. It also will intersperse narratives from the actress and even a couple of music videos. The goal is to be as cutting edge and avant garde as possible.

synopsis...

The film comprises Silverman's performance before a live audience interwoven with stylish musical numbers and backstage intrigue. Comedians Bob Odenkirk and Brian Posehn make appearances along with Silverman's band, The Silver Men.

Silverman, who has been compared to the legendary Lenny Bruce, is known as one of the funniest and most provocative people in comedy. Despite the current political climate, in Jesus is Magic, she takes on such pitch-black topics as September 11th, unwanted body hair, and the Holocaust, and spins them into decidedly un-PC comedic gold.

The Rum Diary - I have been waiting ages for this movie! :yay:

Wolverine - It looks amazing and I'm all pumped up!

Terminator: Salvation - I can't wait to see grown up John Connor in action.

I really wanna see DOOM. Its with "the rock" and the action looks pretty cool. Not to mention it looks like a pretty good thriller. Kinda like AVP

Off the top of my head (I need to make a list of upcoming release dates) -

The Other Boleyn Girl (I can't wait to see Natalie and Scarlett as sisters and I adore period pieces.)
Penelope ( James McAvoy and this kind of movie is right up my alley.)
Leatherheads (George Clooney and John Krasinski in the same movie - I'm there!)
Get Smart (Steve Carell is frickin hilarious and I adore Anne Hathaway.)
Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day ( Lee Pace and find Amy Adams adorable.)
Made of Honor
Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (Loved the first and have been eagerly anticipating the sequel.)
Indiana Jones 4
The Dark Knight (It's going to be slightly surreal and bittersweet to watch Heath Ledger as the Joker now.)
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince
Twilight (I've never read the books.)

:star: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
:star: Memoirs of a Geisha
:star: Pride and Prejudice

I basically want to see all of these because of the books they're based on. :D

I want to see Cry Wolf just because of Jon Bon Jovi ;) I can't help it, I'm a huge Bon Jovi fan and of course I have to see (drool over) Jon in the movie. He plays a professor! lol.

I didn't know he was in that!!

I wanna see Elizabethtown and Shopgirl. They both look like cute movies.

Thank you for reminding about Indiana Jones. I have to see that. I mean Indiana Jones is fricking legend! Plus Shia in it too. He's one of my favorites.

Also Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince because I'm a Harry Potter fan.

The Forbidden Kingdom because it's starring both Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Two martial arts legends working together for the first time, what could be better?! :D

Hellboy 2: The Golden Army Hellboy kicked ass in the first one. This one looks even better.

There are actually several independent films that showcased at a recent Colorado film festival I'm seriously itching to see, the strongest one being Capote, with Phillip Seymour Hoffman. There are no words to describe my love for that man. :glow:

But there were other films showcased, as well, and for the life of me I can't find reference to them - I think it may have been the Telluride festival, but it doesn't seem right and I can't find reference to the fecent films because they haven't put them up on their site yet... Bah.

and there's way more..I want to see.

There are so many movies I want to see this year. I even met a list but I won't name all of them because it's pretty long. I'll just name the one that come to mind the most. This month the one movie I'm dying to see is Penelope starring Christina Ricci and James McAvoy. God, James McAvoy is so hot!!

Also future movies coming out: The Dark Night (RIP Heath Ledger), Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, and so on.

What can I say, I love my movies.
