Films You Wished there was a sequel to?

His folks what films did u wish there was a sequel to? mine was 80's film "The Breakfast Club" on the grounRAB of finding out what happened to all of the characters.
 
By "Alien" I meant the franchise, rather than just the first film, and the later films exist now for good or ill. But yes, I think another film would probably not involve Ripley, and could be set between the second and third films. I'd like it to use the species that was piloting the ship they found in the first movie, which was not human, Alien or Predator. That new species hints at a wealth of possibilities. As does the idea that the Aliens were originally genetically engineered as weapons of war. Who was fighting who? Predators versus Pilots? Is that war still going on, and if so, where would humans stand?

Switching movies now... the commentary for Run, Lola, Run mentions a possible sequel covering what the tramp did with the gun. I don't think R,L,R really neeRAB a sequel, but as it's such a great film I'd go and see one if it was made.

Home Alone: All Grown Up, where Macaulay Culkin is finally captured by the burglars and is slowly tortured to death over the timespan of a year, like that guy in Seven.

Lock, Stock and Two More Smoking Barrels where we find out, ten years on, what actually happened to those guns. Even if they managed to hold on to them and make some money, it would have dried up by now, meaning a new plan will be required to get rich quick.

That's all I can think of for now.
 
Grease - yes, I'm well aware that there was a sequel to it and another 3 after that if you count High School Musical 1 - 3, but I mean a proper sequel. One that has Sandy, Danny, Kenickie and the original cast. I would have loved to have seen how their lives turned out.
 
Iron Giant (the cartoon movie) never failed to make me cry when I was a young boy...:o I wanted all the robotic pieces to assemble themselves again and then go and find the boy. :(
 
I Think that says it all really. Best left alone.

But saying that it's probably on Hollywood's list for the next
5 years of remakes. How film making today is raking in so much money from what they are turning out is amazing.
 
Master & Commander. I loved the film and the ending was nicely set up for a sequel. What's the matter with the great unwashed? Not enough car chases or explosions for them? :(
 
Completely agree with this. Hollywood are now onto remaking fairly recent 90's films after slowly going through 80's films. The Crow and Blair Witch are both being remade next year and most of the 80's remakes that have not come out yet are pencilled in for release early next year.
 
Well there's scope for one. In the original book (but not used in the film), the Earth is threatened by a gigantic space-going dragon. The Iron Giant challenges it to a series of tests in order that it should leave, this could be the basis of a sequel.
 
Good suggestion. I loved that film. The characters, script and storyline were all terrific. I thought Crowe and Bettany bounced off each other rather well.
 
Fight Club - I know it's impossible to make a sequel to this,and they would never get that cast all agreeing to a sequel but Brad Pitt's Tyler Durden 'character' was so damn iconic.

The Goonies - Could be a nice little nostalgic family movie if done correctly.
