films you turned off midway through

Last week Leaving Las Vegas was on tv, I managed 20 minutes then switched it off (what a depressing load of tosh!!). I like Nicholas Cage, he's a great actor, and I've heard people say it's a good film!??

Films I wish I had switched off - cos the ending wasn't worth the wait - got to be Memento (what the hell is all that about???), and Bridge to Terabithia - talk about tearjerker, depressed me for the rest of the day!!

I have never turned off a movie half way. However I would liked to have turned off Fast And The Furious midway.

I was with family and frienRAB watching it, my dad was funny who also hated the movie kept getting up and walking out every few minutes. Horrible movie.

A friend leant me "Date Movie" claming it was "Really funny"...

after 10 mins i could not stand it, awful comedy, not remotely funny! He still claims he laughs really hard at some of the bits.

Whoever said A.I., you're not alone! I walked out of the cinema half-way through that one and had a Burger King instead, much more entertaining.

Moulin Rouge. Not because I'm allergic to musicals. Far from it. It was just too manic, made me feel ill.

Bringing Out The Dead. I'm a fan of Cage but I had to bail half-way through this or I would have killed myself it was so depressing.

Churchill The Hollywood Years. Switched it off after about 30 minutes. I've had more fun having teeth pulled.

I'm not one for giving up, but I started watching Delicatessen the other day and just couldn't make it to the end. I'm a fan of foreign films but that was too crazy for me!

The only reason we stayed in the cinema til the end of that is we couldnt believe an entire film could have no story!!!

Ive left the cinema once midway through a movie - Traffic and dearly wished I could during An English Patient but my pal was enjoying it

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby - I enjoyed Anchor Man, but this was absolute drovel. Fast-forwarded through the second half.

Donnie Darko - Gave up after 20 minutes. Decided to give it another shot the following night, however, and I was blown away! Now one of my all time favourite movies. I guess certain films you have to be in the right mood for.

Ratatouille - Perhaps a controversial choice, but I just can't bring myself to finish watching it. Got halfway through, but even that felt like a chore. I'm a huge Pixar fan aswell. Astounded at the amount of praise it's received.

I switched off 2001: A Space Odyssey after 30 minutes the first time I tried to watch it. I have since watched it all the way through and still think it's a bit pants.

I seem to be the only person on the planet who thinks the acting and direction of this film is poor! ;) The storyline is great though. Shame.

Yep, I really hate Wes Anderson.

I love Eternal Sunshine and Mullaholand drive though.

I felt lost in Translation had too many Benny Hill type jokes in it about Japan.

The Talented Mr. Ripley. Mind you I should have known better as it had two of my least favorite actors in.

I haven't seen most of the films mentioned and I don't think I will ever bother now, thanks for the heaRAB up:)

Batman and Robin

I usually try to see films through to the end, but this one is so mind-numbingly AWFUL that I just couldn't make it. If anything, it just makes you appreciate how fantastic Batman Begins is in comparison.

I quite like films with 'no story'.

Actually, there's plenty going on in these films. It's just all in the relationships of the characters, rather than what's happening in their lives.

I can understand why people find that boring if they prefer more action driven stuff.
