Sin City. After twenty minutes I was on the verge on switching it off, but stuck with it and by the end I thought the film was excellent.

Working the other way round - Vanilla Sky.

Haven't watched it for a ages, and then only once, so plot is vague - but my over riding feelings at the time were that I was intrigued and drawn in by most of the film. Was it a clever/evil plan, was he suffering from a breakdown. What was real, what was imagined etc.

i thought the last line of the film was 'open your eyes' - so it could have been a dream all a long, just like femme fatale

The end seemed a bit rushed and badly thought out to me. It was like they had cut an original ending that didn't go down well with the focus group so the decided to redo it and they wound up wtih that mess.

I agree with you, it seemed boring at first and I can't stand Bruce Wills but, it was great in the end!

Ditto, I also agree with Sin City. I was so bored at the start but somehow it got good.
