films you never tire of watching

Aww i like it..., i could and have watched dirty dancing, grease, titanic and sound of music over and over again too...nice choices.

oooh after reading a post above realised i missed out:
Home Alone
and most disney films - but mainly The Lion King, Little Mermaid, Peter Pan..
Monsters Inc & Shrek too!

well, let us know what you think when you've watched it.

I reckon it has the most frightening final denouement in a film of its kind, the final line is mindblowing.

I agree Jake :) I LOVE this film. I was quite young when I first watched it and found it boring, but I watched it again not long ago and loved it. Sent tingles up my spine! Such a clever story!

Ooh and mine (that I can think of) are:

10 Things I Hate About You
Dodgeball
Grease
Dirty Dancing

It started off pretty well but got a bit far fetched and the ending... I wasn't expecting that, very sad.

I see what you mean by hidden layers, but you could quite easily miss the plot about him being set up and think the film was pretty awful.

Not an epic but I'd still give it a solid 7/10.

Back to the Future Trilogy
Die Hard (1,2 or 3)
Jurassic Park
Forrest Gump
Pulp Fiction
Goodfellas
Ghostbusters
Shawshank Redemption
There's Something About Mary
Meet The Parents
The Matrix
Serenity

to name but a few...

Brigadoon - the whole concept is just so wonderful, so romantic... aaahhh!
Lady & The Tramp - cute beyond belief. Lady is so like my dog... aaahhh!
The Bodyguard - Kevin Costner....phhwoaarr! ... Like the music too. Always cry at the end.

Here are just few of the films I never tire of watching.

Star Wars (OT)
The Godfather Parts I and II
Back To The Future Trilogy
The Shawshank Redemption

The Green Mile
The Dead Zone
Superman The Movie
Goodfellas
Stand By Me

Carry On Screaming
Die Hard 1 and 2

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. (1) because it takes you about 5 times to understand all the twists, and (2) because there are so many funny subtle jokes that you miss the first time round. One of my favourite films, very underrated imo.
