Films you hope never ever get remade

Robocop

Wouldn't mind a remake of Battle Royale. The original is just a little bit too weird in that typical Japanese way, and could maybe benefit from a good quality hard R US or European remake.

Definetly one movie which cannot be remade, and that is the classic weepie Random Harvest starring Ronald Colman and Greer Garson.

I watched this the other day which I had copied from TCM Channel a while back. Its a wonderful film, works perfectly with a great cast.

Remake??? Forget it.

Hellraser is defiantly a contender for next horror remake. What else is there. They done halloween, firday the 13th, nightmare on elm street etc.

I just hope they don't do scream, they are doing a number 4 though which im excited about.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off... I'm just sure it would have Robert Pattinson or Zac Efron and that would actually make me a terrible mixture of sad and furious :(

I hate when good films get remade, I just think 'leave them alone, they're perfect as they are,' my perfect example being 'Mostly Martha' being remade into 'No Reservations' *sob*

For me, it's films where the casting and directing is irreplaceable or they're set during a period in time which would be near imposable to recreate.
