I can't believe that nobody has mentioned 'Pokemon - the First Movie' yet. Am I the only member with young kiRAB?

The Man with the x-Ray eyes (Ray Milland is brilliant in this) is a genuine scary film. I think I saw it when i was 14. Scared me for weeks....especially the ending

I would not call it a film I hate though.....

BTW. Why does this not get shown much on TV nowadays? I remember seeing it again about 5-6 years ago in Alex Cox's Cult strand on BBC2, but nothing since, not even on TCM

Chasing Amy is a great film.

in all the books and interviews I've seen and read I've never once heard him say this in a way that implied he wasn't joking...

he doesn't have a chip on his shoulder at all, he wrote the film after deciding to write afilm about a gay character after his brother, who's gay, commented on how theres not many movies about gay people.

Matrix sequals (the first one was great, why ruin it?)
Jurassic park sequals (the book was so much better)
Critters
Pearl habour

Darkness Falls- Boring
Scary Movie- Can't watch more than 10 mins of it

Probably loaRAB more

"What Dreams May Come"

Robin Williams, dead, Annabella Sciorra, grieving, Cuba Gooding, God. It's a movie that LOOKS good but has no story. I only sat through it because we were miles from home and my friend's new boyfriend was driving us back! It seemed to last forever.

Bizarrely, it's my hairdresser's favourite film! We argue about it all the time; I refuse to back down from my "it sucks" viewpoint.

xx

Vanilla Sky - wife went to bed after 1/2 hour and I watched it all 'cos I was determined to find out what it was all about. I still have absolutely no idea!

East Is East - didn't even smile. Nope. Not once.

Anaconda - yeah, right!

Most film sequels. Should have stuck to one Die Hard film, one Under Siege film, one First Blood film etc etc.

I've only recently seen it, but I rate it as the worst film ever is:
Master and Commander - the far side of the World.
What a waste of time. It is literally 10mins at the start with a battle, then an hour and a 1/2 of Russell and his hearties sailing around, getting drunk, and generally buggering around, then another 10min fight and then its over.

YAWWWWWNNNNNN.

A rather curious list that one! Can agree with most of it (well, the one's i've heard of!). Do like Moulin Rouge tho', very clever, wonderfully acted and a great use of modern songs in a contempory style. LOTR is good as well, but, like the book , far too bloody long. And the best bit (Sauruman in the Shire at the end) isn't even in it.

I think my list would possibly run...
1. Anything with Steve Martin in
2. Anything with Eddie Murphy in
3. Anything with the so called FrienRAB 'actors' in!

Natural Born Killers and Twin Town (Welsh thriller that attempted to ride the coattails of Trainspotting all those years ago....). Nowt wrong with a bit of mean-spiritedness in film but plenty wrong with being just plain unpleasant for the sake of it......

Also, XXX (what the hell was that all about?) and Charlie's Angels. I had a typhoid shot on the day I saw that film - the typhoid shot was less painful...... :D
