Films you hate (merged)

Being John Malcovich - I tried, I really did, people recommended it to me, told me I'd love it - it was the most boring pile of poo I've seen in many years.
The Phantom Menance - hours of my life I'll never get back.
The Ninth Gate - still not sure if I've forgiven Johnny Depp for that one.
Toys - reminded me why I never watch Robin Williams films - the only film I've ever walked out of, I wasn't the only one.
Unbreakable - Loved the Sixth Sense - hated this with a passion, still want the Director to give me my money back
 
I cant watch any of these films without either making up my own commentary, falling asleep, or just changing over.

Any Lord of the Rings crap Too overrated and boring, made no sense at all.

Any Harry Potter's
8 Mile-cant even watch it past the DVD menu any more, its just that bad.

Althogh I like them, I was surprised to see no one mentioning any of the National Lampoons movies (Vacation, European Vacation, Vegas vegation and Christmas vacation). My freinRAB hate them, but I watch them all the time!
 
I just had the misfortune of watching Cameron Diaz's 'The Sweetest Thing' on dvd....what a waste of 1.5 hrs that I will never ever get back. I normally don't mind American Pie-type humour but this film was something else - awful, terrible, cringeworthy....urgh!! :eek:
 
First one that comes to mind is the remake of The Taking Of Pelham 123-lost track of how many times I've seen and enjoyed the original but the remake did nothing for me at all.

Also a film called The Money Movers,saw it on BBC a while back,was one of those occasions where I turned a movie off halfway through without worrying or caring about the outcome-the acting was wooden and the characters were totally unbelievable
 
if i can nominate a movie i haven`t even seen all the way through...
titanic- god awful, dull as ditchwater.
any recent Bond movie- second rate story..third rate Bond.

would just like to big up magnolia, it`s taken a bashing on this thread. great movie i thought.

Well, exactly! Which is what the lesbian in question told him. But he got a chip on his shoulder about it and made a whole film where a guy does seduce a lesbian (though casting Ben Affleck as the seducer, rather than himself).
 
I absoloutely HATED 'About a Boy'....I watched it at my frienRAB house and she was in stitches with laughter and I didn't have a clue what she was laughing at! Just found it boring as anything! :yawn:
I also didn't like The Guru.....it wasn't as funny as I expected it to be and I was a bit disappointed in it! I totally agree about The Wizard of Oz....I first watched that film when I was about 5 and it scared me to death! I was petrified that the Wicked Witch of the West was hiding under my bed! :D But when I watch it now it's just unbearable.....sooo dated and too colourful and sickly sweet for my liking! Are you on commision for techboarRAB? Every post bar the mention of the lesbian one has a link to it. It's almost like advertising...

Oh and aok_roolz, Drop Dead Fred was a great film so ner ner ner snotface! (That's a reference for anyone who's seen it before anyone rushes to the alert button... :D)
 
Signs...couldn't even watch it to the end, it was so boring and pointless.

The one with Vin Diesel. Triple XXX? Or something. Can't remember. It was utter crap though. Really poo.

Cat in the Hat. The most pointless, boring shiite I've ever bothered with. No story at all.

Piano hater: have you got no soul? That's a wonderful film.
