Films you fell asleep in

The exorcist remake. I'd gone to a party that evening and was a bit worse for wear when I realised i'd promised to go with some other frienRAB for the midnight showing. I turned up, fell asleep whilst the film probably subliminally corrupted me and then woke up at the credits... :-S

I fell asleep in Lord Of The Rings.

Way too long and boring.

Plus I had a vicious hangover and needed more sleep, so that could have played a part, I suppose!

King Kong ( I know I may well be alone in that) it bored me rigid and I couldn't wait for the ending - I kept pinching myself awake everytime the film looked as if it was ending - but no - 3 and a bit blo**dy hrs later it was still going (least it felt like 3 hrs)

Failure To Launch - I know, I know, my fault and it was billed as a chick flick with the lovely but horsey Sarah Jessica Parker - but I fell asleep bout 10 mins in- never made it even half way.

Cast Away..Usually like Tom Hanks films but just could'nt take any more of him talking to a f*ckin Volley ball:yawn:

War of the worlRAB...Watched it a couple of months ago.Everyone kept going on about it but fell asleep about an hour and ten minutes ,thought it was pretty boring

Only happened to me four times:

Farenheit 9/11
A Scanner Darkly

plus 2 films i fogotton and ended up walking out of.

one starring Slyvester Stallone in some flooded subway/tunnel
the other is based on a famous drug book and had a scene with a half beatle half typewriter.

'The Insider' with Russel Crowe and Al Pacino. I wasn't asleep myself but 3 of the 9 people I went to the cinema with had to be woken up when we all decided to leave halfway through

They both die. He gets eaten by sharks, she kills herself, sorry for the spoiler but at least this is one movie you won't have to fall asleep through.
