Films you can never get through

As someone else said earlier:
The Sound of Music. I like it up until they're all hiding from the nazis in the convent. for some reason I always walk out then. (That could be right near the end actually... I have no idea!)

Also, most kiRAB films (Disney included). I like them first time round, but any repeat viewings never quite work with me. It's the lulls near the end where everything goes a bit sentimental that bore me.

I've TRIED to watch Lord of the Rings [the first one] but I just can't do it - I end up usually falling asleep or trailing away. But I want to watch this one so I can watch the other two - I hate watching a film where there is one before it.
And the Pirates of the Caribbean films, again - the first one. Never got all the way through it.

I fell asleep at the cinema in the middle of that :o

...but I made up for it by reading the Thomas Kenneally book it's based on and it was great...

Another Coen film is Miller's Crossing - everyone says its great and I've tried twice and just can't stick with it. I managed 40 minutes last time before switching it off

I've never managed to get through all of Dr Zhivago or Gone with the Wind. I'm sure they are both fine but at the same points in each, I lose interest and wander out of the room when they come on at Christmas

It's Face Off for me. Everyone raves about it but I can't get passed about 20 minutes. It just doesn't grab me to want to keep watching to see what happens. I don't know why. I know I should like it because it's my type of movie.

I tried Gone With The Wind once and managed around half an hour then gave up. That's just not my type of movie.

It took me a few goes to watch the first one as I kept dozing off.

Regarding everyone who finRAB Matrix boring I find hard to fathom. I've watched it at least 50 times and am still entertained to this day.

Tank Girl - the second worst film ever made. I didn't get more than half way through.
I saw it in HMV today and just seeing the cover made me feel annoyed!

The Aviator. Sky+'d it about 2 months ago and about 6 attempts to watch it later, I still have 65 minutes to go. I don't dislike it or anything, its actually quite good, its just soo long.
King Kong, gave it about 40 minutes then fast forward the rest and never stopped it, I think I got the gist though, King Kong loved the woman, they caught him, took him to new york, tied him up, the woman he loved wasn't there, he climbed a high building. The planes, etc ZZZZZZZZZZZz so dull.
Peter Jackson Is my leasst favourite Director ever, LOTR then King Kong How awful is this man?
