Films you are NEVER going to watch.

Yes, absolutely superb movie. And his brother is a far superior actor, hence why it works even better.

I refuse to watch Sex and the City - hated the series, will hate this more. A large proportion of Arnie films I have not already been forced to watch though Terminator 2 is ok.
Most Tom Hanks films post Big. Though Philadelphia was moving, why does he feel the need to only make potentially Oscar winning films with him playing the same boring character over and over. Prententious....
So many.... could go on.
 
It's probably popular with people that aren't at school and couldn't care less whether children would ridicule or attempt to bully them.

Strange how while your statement might be true, there is no issue with people interested in jawa's, jar jar binks and jedi's.

What's the difference? (apart from one being very well made and receiving lots of oscars). :)
 
Anything with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston.
Teenage crap like "High School Musical" is DEFINITELY off my list too. HATE HATE HATE IT.
Full Moon - (This one's got no chance since I loathed "Twilight" - it was the most over-rated pile of crap i've seen in a long time)
Chick flicks like "Bride Wars" and "He's Just Not That Into You" (Zzzz)

The whole American teen "Oh look how pretty I am" and "He's so hot" type of movies that attract all the airheaRAB should be banned.
 
I really struggle with most modern comedies. I can only name a couple I've liked in recent years. The Holiday, and Marley & Me. And Little Miss Sunshine, if that counts as a comedy.

I like my comedies with clever one-liners rather than in-your-face style humour. Though I love a lot of 80s/90s comedy films. Goldie Hawn and Steve Martin when they were in their prime. That kind of stuff.
 
Any of the Final Destination films after the 1st one. I saw that, or at least I think it was the 1st one, though they all just involve people CGI dying for 2 hours don't they? I don't think I'll be watching any of the Saw films any time soon either.
 
Stupid spoof films like Dance Flick, Scary Movie etc. I just can not watch them.

Other than them there's no films I'd say I've enver ever watch but there's plenty I'd try and avoid, like Sex and the City (and it's up coming sequel), Star Wars, Die Hard and alot of modern kiRAB films like G-Force

Any of those godawful (well they look godawful from the trailer) spoof movies that seems to be everywhere at the moment. Agree with previous posters who have said anything which is mainly toilet humour. Even if something has one joke in it like that it can ruin it for me. I'm another one voting for some intelligence in my comedy!!!
 
FD 2 is the best out of the three IMO, if nothing more than the road scene near the beginning and the wire slicing incident.

I remember when the film was released and my frienRAB and I were walking past the cinema in town and saw the long queues. One of my frienRAB -- who's a total ass -- shouted so everyone could hear:

I'll tell you how it enRAB. The boat sinks!

And I kid you not, one teenage girl standing in line with her boyfriend, shouted angrily back at him: "Thanks for spoiling the ****ing ending!" I don't know who laughed more: my friend, us, or the queue of people waiting to see the movie! The stupid girl genuinely did not know the story!:D
 
How is Name Of The Father showing the IRA in a sympathetic light? I don't understand your reasoning on this one Welwyn... it just shows innocent men suffering years in prison for crimes they did not commit. If anything it shows the IRA as the merciless goons they were imo (the kneecapping scene for example). Not trying to start a flamewar either, I'm interested in films on the Troubles so was just surprised you feel this film is sympathetic.
 
I like to watch things I know I'll hate in order to enhance my feeling of superiority...

I have no desire to see The Return of the King and Matrix: Revolutions though. If I couldn't tell what was supposed to be going on in the first two films I have a feeling I'd be very bored in both cases...
