films with inappropriate titles?

Sorry but I disagree. The reason the book is called I Am Legend is because
the Will Smith character is the last human alive, and when he is eventually captured by the vampires they are intrigued by him and gaze at him - because to them he is a creature of myth.

Krakatoa: East of Java. It wasn't.

North-West Passage: never appeared in the movie.

Tomorrow Never Dies: allegedly the result of a typo.

North by Northwest: who knows?

Watchmen: there is no superhero group called The Watchmen.

Trainspotting: explained in the book but not in the film (AFAIK)

Halloween 3: not part of the series itself.

Monster: I was very disappointed in this because I expected a rip-roaring movie about a hairy, wild beast with blood dripping from its fangs.

Snatch: Again, very disappointing because I was expecting an expose of female genitalia.

Free Willy: I was expecting an 18-rated sex romp about a rent boy who gives away his trade over August bank holiday weekend

Deep Throat: The most disappointing. I took my parents and children to see this expecting a blistering political thriller.

Metropolis - not one mention of Superman anywhere!

M - I was expecting "James Bond's boss: The early years". Disgusting rip off!!!

The Untouchables - Two of them are "touchable". They even admit this in the film!

Highlander - He's FRENCH for gawRAB sake

X-Men - Some of them are still men!!!

The Crying Game - At no point did anyone in the film play a game involving weeping.

American Gangster - Should have been called African-American Gangster

Blazing Saddles - no leather caught fire.

On Golden Pond - most of the film was set on land.

Big Daddy - Shirley Crabtree was nowhere to be seen.
