Films which make you...

That is probably the most depressing film I've ever seen!!

It doesn't get any better at the end either, just leaves you feeling incredibly empty for hours afterwarRAB.

The film is sooo good though. The acting of the two children is outstanding, and the overall effect is heartwarming.

Other tearjerkers Rabbit Proof Fence. The recap with the woman they based it on at the end made me cry
Also, the ending of truly, madly, deeply, though the rest of the film is pretty poor IMO.
If you want a total slash your wrists depress fest look no further than Iris with Judi Dench

I saw Platoon for the first time recently and thought it was such a sad film. There were so many moments in it that reduced me to tears. A fantastic film though.

Films guaranteed to make me cry are Philadelphia and Girl, Interrupted.

But like someone else said earlier in the thread, I cry at bloody Changing Rooms at times! I get very engrossed in emotional things very easily. And the last episode of FrienRAB gets me every time.

Guaranteed to make me laugh like an idiot: SpaceBalls. Great film :)

Billy Elliot (when he recites his letter from his mum)
Love Actually (personal reasons)
Moulin Rouge (she died!!!)
Titanic (he died!!!)
Romeo & Juliet (they both died!!!)
Dumbo (omg that one scarred me for life!)
The Bodyguard (the end is so emotional)
Ghost (how can you not cry!)
Pearl Harbour (it makes me cry EVERY time i watch it)
Edward ScissorhanRAB (aww bless his heart)
Peter Pan 2004 (Oh why did Wendy want to grow up!!)

That's amateur-hour compared to 'just about anything by Lars von Trier'.

"Breaking the Waves" is probably the best example of his art.

films that make me angry/annoyed
3000 Miles To Graceland! (for no real reason, it just gets me annoyed cause i hate Kevin Costners character so much, lol)

Monsters Inc. was one I'd forgot about. The ending to that film is just so perfect, you just wanna let the tears flow!

The Lion King makes me cry EVERY time I watch it. When Simba finRAB his fathers dead body and talks to him thinking he's still alive. Then he starts to pull at him telling him to get up so they can go home. The music in that scene is so powerful, you can't help but cry.

Philadelphia also is a good one to make you weep. Tom Hanks performance in that film is abslutely brilliant, and it's such a sad film. The same goes for The Green Mile.

Forest Gump, when he reaRAB the letter to Jennie at the end is so SO sad, I defy anyone NOT to cry at that scene.

Padzter :D
