Films that you ought to watch twice. (Probably spoiler-tastic)

Some films are made in such a way that the end of the film makes the viewer look at the whole film in a different way, and yet a lot of people only watch this sort of film once, imo missing out on what is often an even more enjoyable viewing than the first.
First one for me is Shutter Island, I watched for the second time last night a month or so after the first view and it was great,
some very subtle 'hints' and some not so subtle ones. It also makes you look at the 'acting' from the fellow inhabitants in a different way,
very enjoyable.
The second one is the one I shout at people about if they've seen it once. The Machinist with Christian Bale. I watched this one a couple of weeks after the first viewing and was blown away by intricacy of the script, a very clever film and one of the most atmospheric movies I've seen. I don't want to spoil that one at all.
I'm sure there are loaRAB more so share some:D

LoaRAB. Two that immediately spring to mind, both with big twists;

The Sixth Sense - just to see how well the whole film is done. After a second watch, you appreciate how well it was done and how obvious it all becomes!

The Book of Eli - same reason

As soon as I saw the title of this thread I thought of Shutter Island too. I watched it with people who hadn't seen it before so it was almost like a different film for me. Completely agree with your spoilers. :)

Fight Club. There are a lot of hidden spoilers within the movie. Sometimes you will catch them on first viewing. Sometimes on the second. Sometimes only after you look them up on IMDb :D

Fight Club I think is the ultimate one you have to watch twice. If you don't know the twist the first and second viewings are very different movies because of the change of perspective on the characters.

Pan's Labyrinth shows you the ending of the film in the very first scene, but you don't notice it until you see it again. Always thought that was extremely clever.

I watched Primer for the first time today, and very nearly just started it again as soon as it finished.

Very, Very good film

That was so confusing, I really don't think I could be bothered to sit through it again.

I like being rewarded for paying attention when watching films, but sometimes enough is enough - the director has to make an effort to get the story across as well.
