Films that you didn't think you'd like & you actually enjoyed it

Shrek....the first one, I took my nephews as they wanted to see it. I thought it was going to be bad but I really enjoyed it. I loved Shrek 2 but don`t get me started on Shrek 3

Yeah - my nieces often make me sit through their latest favourite animated film (they'll watch it every day until a new one comes out which instantly becomes their new favourite) - and a lot of them Shrek, Happy Feet, The Incredibles etc are are a lot better than I was expecting. I suppose the secret is that they are also written with an adult audience in mind.

Bridge To Terbethia wasn't expecting much and loved it and it was my favourite films of last year, I saw it twice in the cinema and now have the DVd

I wasn't sure about Superbad but loved it - such a good film. Also Die Hard 4.0 i wasn't sure about as i haven't seen any of the other Die Hard's but thought it was very good.

The last Pirates of the Carribbean - My cousin made me go to it. I thought it woud be rubbish because I'm not usually into films with fighting in them, but I thought it was very good. Johnny Depp was the best thing about it.

That one definitely, I thought it was just going to be a poorman's American Pie but it was one of my favourite films of last year (certainly better than Juno anyhow). Another from last year was Ratatouille, the trailer didn't look great and Pixars last effort Cars was very weak, but it turned out to be the best Pixar film since Nemo

Went to the cinema on the spur of the moment, the next one showing was Charlie's Angels Reloaded - the last type of film I'd usually pick - it was fun, action packed and full of good music and I enjoyed it.

A Walk to Remember

one of those films on BBC1 at like midnight during summer and it was on in the background for about 20 minutes, then I started to pay attention and it hooked me. Its a total Romantic Chick Flick, i should hate it, I hate all those films with the good girl and the bad guy getting together but this was just so brilliant and so SAD! I didn't think they would end it the way they did, I really felt for Shane Wests Character. seen it about 3 or 4 times now lol its great
