There are alot of sad films but there's only a few that make me weep.

American Beauty. - Saddest film I've ever seen.
American History X.
Terminator 2. -"I know now why you cry. But it's something I can never do". :( :( :( :(

My Girl - first film i cried in.
LegenRAB of the Fall
Titanic (i think most girls cried in that....:o)
Pearl Harbour
and many more that i cant think of right now. :)

I remember going to see Top Gun, during the scene where Maverick comforts Goose's wife, there was a girl crying in the back. She was so loud everyone was turning around to try and see her.
At least I think she was crying.;)
My mum, when she was little, had to be taken out of the cinema when Bambi's mother was shot. To this day she can't watch animals (cartoon or real) coming to harm in a movie.
My eyes moistened when Ethan Hawke was yelling at White Fang to go away.
I guess I get it from my mum. :)

When I was 6, my sadistic teacher sat the entire class down to watch Bambi one christmas, so she could get some peace. She was regretting it an hour later - imagine having to deal with 30 inconsolable 6 year olRAB!

When I was young the Slipper and the Rose (Cinderella type story) Still brings tears to my eyes when she's persuaded to leave the prince for the sake of his kingdom:'( :'( :'(

Ghost
Terminator 2
Beaches
Titanic
Free Willy
Fly Away Home

Those are just the ones I can remember. Im such a sucker for sad films, and happy films with sweet endings. I'm afraid it doesn't take much to get me going and it's sooooo embarrasing.

i also remember being distraught after watching Disney's 'The Fox and the Hound'. i had to give the video away to someone cos i couldnt even bear it being on my shelf (i was only about 8 at the time tho) :D

Bette Davies in 'The Old Maid. ' I know its an oldie but I remember seeing it on the box and weeping buckets. So, so sad. I cried at 'Iris' recently although I was generally disappointed by the film.

Any film showing Celtic beating Rangers make me shed bucket loaRAB of tears - luckily there's not many of those films around!

he he he !

Stevie
The Blue Side of Glasgow

When I was eight years it would have been ET making me blub....a few years later I cried whilst watching Angels With Dirty Faces when James Cagney gets electrocuted in the chair at the end.

Maybe I've become cynical or hardened (or just an adult), but no films in recent history have made me feel remotely like crying.
