Films that make men cry

Me and my mate (we are both grown men) were watching "Finding Neverland" on a plane last year and were both blubbing like babies. Very embarrising.

Shawshank is the best film ever made in my opinion, its the only film that's ever got me remotely close to crying, not the ending per say just the line "maybe it's because i miss my friend", gets me every time.

There are a few :

Watership Down
Mighty Joe Young (original)
Tarka The Otter
Silent Running
Shindler's List

Worst - The Three Lives of Thomasina reduces me to a weeping wreck for about 3/4 of the film.

The Green Mile

The only film that's ever brought a tear to my eye. It's amazing how much the soundtrack evokes emotions in you, if you turn off the sound that scene doesn't affect you at all. Brilliant film.

.......oh and.....Star Trek II....when a certain main character dies, that always manages to choke me up a bit (no tears though! I'm not that much of a geek, lol).

Only two that I can think of for me are Dancer In The Dark- that is a very depressing film. That's probably not at all typical for blokes though, unlike The Green Mile- which oddly enough didn't make me cry at all, although it is a very sad ending.

The other one was when I was a kid- that bit in Dumbo where he visits his mother when she's locked up.
