Daftly, this is one I agree with. A good script with a-list actors and director and modern CG effects would be very cool. I expected a raft of shark films after Deep Blue Sea but they never turned up. A new Jaws film could turn things around with the shark being the 'victim' in these modern eco-friendly times! There are a few big-screen names I would dearly love to see eaten alive 'Quint' fashion.
True Lies 2 has been around in development hell for ages. I believe Cameron & Arnold were ready to go in 95/96 but Arnie was tied up making Eraser, Batman & Robin and was also scheduled to star in I Am Legend & Planet of the Apes (both of which were postponed and re-cast). There was a lot of hype back in 2003 about a sequel but by then Cameron had moved on to other projects & Arnie's political career had taken off. I'm not sure this will ever get going again.
I know some people don't like it on here, but I'd like to see something after 28 weeks later, where they infect France? Or maybe a prequel where we see how the infection got started properly and how the guy from 28 Days later ended up in hospital?
I'd like to see a sequel to Se7en, although not called se7en Two or ei8ht. Mills could be let out of Jail / asylum or whereever he ended up at the end and help Morgan Freeman with a new case. The chemistry between the two was brilliant. Would love to see what happened to Mills after the first film. It would have to be just as good as the first film though....Fincher at the helm again.
I guess some films are best left alone though....I enjoyed the Matrix trilogy the first film wees all over the other two. Still good films in their own right...
Wes Craven had said in the past that he had no intrest in a "Scream 4".
However last year at a Horror Convention he said
"I've been asked about doing another Scream film for a long time.I was asked if I'd be interested, but I said it would depend on the script."
