I have a UGC/Cineworld unlimited card but my local cinema only has six screens. The problem with this is that films are frequently advertised and then fail to show up. The most recent example is Red Eye. Where I live in Eastbourne there were posters all over town advertising this "exciting thriller at cinemas "Everywhere" from Sept 2nd". Everywhere apart from Eastbourne that is!! For when Sept 2nd dawned there was no sign of Red Eye. It had even been advertised at the cinema as coming soon! This is very frustrating as it happens quite frequently, especially when blockbusters are on two screens giving even less choice. Luckily I was on holiday and went to see it at the cineworld in Brighton. has anyone else experienced this or are you lucky enough to live near a ten screen cinema? its just so annoying when it is advertised so heavily. On the week in question they chose to put Charlie and the chocolate factory on two screens for the sixth week running!
