Star Wars I'd imagine has the biggest fanbase, and then I'd say Star Trek. Serenity - gosh! That's amazing. Go Joss!
HP obviously has a massive fanbase, but whether it will last for nearly 30 years like Star Wars I'm not so sure...the books will remain popular, I'm not sure about the films.
