Film locations on Google Street View

It's not, it's the actual headquarters of 20th Century Fox. They filmed it in the building as it was being refurbished. The scaffolding and unfinished floors were real at the time. The explosion at the top actually made some local residents call the police as they thought the building was on fire or it was a terrorist attack, they didn't know a film was being made there.

Link doesnt work for me, it brings up a shopping centre and a TGI Fridays. I did find it by searching myself, and the link for it is the same as you posted so I don't know why it won't show up properly...

Search Gogle Maps for this (58 Leonard Avenue, Leonardo, NJ 07737-1517) and then switch to Stret View to see it as it is now. Video store is gone and plenty of houses have sprung up in the area around it now. Apart from the store, the area is unrecognisable.

Is Chicago usually so expensive? I expect decent suburbs in other economically vibrant US cities and states (especially the North East) are much the same, that is to say expensive real estate. The moderately sized "Elm Street" house was priced at 2 million dollars when it went on sale, somewhat understandable considering it's location.

Makes me wonder whether having ties to landmark movies has increased the value of these homes. But surely the number of major film buRAB with that much wealth in hand is quite low anyway.

Most of the houses in the area are similarly priced, so maybe a small effect, but not much. If it was from the movie, then that house would be the most expensive one around, but some of it's neighbors are worth over 2 million.

The median home price in Chicago suburbs is only around $300k, but the median size of those homes is closer to 1000 square feet. This one is 4200 square feet with half an acre of land, which is really a good size, especially considering how close it is to the US's third largest city. Still, that must be considered a very nice neighborhood for the prices to be so much higher than median.

I believe home prices around London are over
