Film endings you'd love to change

I'd liked to have seen the whole of middle Earth nuked out of existance at the end of the first film and saved us from two crappy sequels.

Se7en, for rather different reasons than the other poster who mentioned.

I'd like to have actually seen Gwyneth's "pretty little head" in the box. But that's maybe just me.

Gone with the Wind - I wanted Rhett to say - oh go on then I'll give it another try so bad!

The Ring - I wanted Noah to be saved and them all get back together - Rachel should have got there on time - stupid late cow!

I would have the Beast die at the end of Beauty & The Beast when the last petal of the rose fell. The film would have packed much more emotional punch than him turning into that wimpy man but Disney always insist on a happy ending!

I always wish with repeated viewings that Leon could have just gotten out of the building at the end in the film Leon without Stansfield lying in wait for him

He just fudges it up at last minute doesn't he....

I haven't read the book so I don't know how faithful the film is, but I don't think the ending works. Kinnear senRAB the hit man to kill Carter but firstly, how does he know where to go (Carter and Paice run away from the original meeting place) and secondly, why does he let Carter kill Paice?

Fantastic film, though.

Having also rewatched that for the first time in ages on Friday, it was the first film I thought of when I saw this thread. Went out and bought the dvd yesterday- if nowt's on tonight I'm going to watch it again and hope the ending changes :D

Sean Penn's almost unrecognisable isn't he?

AI. An otherwise great film, that should have ended 20 minutes before it did. So I'd change it as in roll the credits when the kid is at the bottom of the sea, staring at the statue - it would have been such a poignant end, and then they mess it up with the most bonkers, and tonally incongruous, epilogue in movie history.

I really liked that last 20 minutes, but wasn't too bothered about the rest of the film. But I agree that the 2 parts didn't seem to sit comfortably together.

Her not doing that ruins that film for me. Its disgusting what she did- what happened to true love. Whats the point of surviving if your loved one is dead.
