Ide like for someone to make an nfo for the site so that it could be attached to posts that are made to groups. It should be a simple template that could be used by posters, of course keep in mind certain groups may have thier own guidlines for titles and such also...
 
Please, could we have a normal size nfo?
I mean, I never ope text files for a window larger than about 800x600,
I use 1024x768 rez.

I always got lotsa forlders open whilst hassling with nfo's.
For me it feels like the .nfo is "on the way" of doing things,
if it has to be fullscreen.

This is just IMO.
I can live with any size if I really have to.

I can do ASCCI art or whatever its called. I'll have a go later.
 
I downloaded Ascii art studio too a copule of days ago.
Pretty nice app.

Think I'll have a go myself to make a FST logo. :)
 
Well,I've been working on an NFO together with RealitY,for the new and improved Usenet Kit(see RealitY's sig).

Nothing too special.
It's a pretty simple lay-out but doesn't look bad at all imho :lookaroun

You are better at making stuff look less square than me - I couldn't get the FileSharing Talk writing looking right...

Edit: You know what would be nice?
If somebody could skin the whole site like an .nfo...

I tried the site logo for like 30misn but couldnt make i look an good or readable.

Using GetDiz maxxed on 1024*768 i could see everything just perfectly.

Do you know what Font the actual logo is in? As I didn't know so had to try and just copy it block by block... ARRGGGhhh! h!
 
I tried converting the logo image to ASCII under various settings but it never came out good.
Font doesn't really matter because that only applies to text.
So I guess you'll have make it by hand :pinch:

Not going to be easy 'cause in the editor it might look like a perfect square,but once you save it it's stretched downwards.
 
I'm having a go too, so I'll let you know how it goes soon...
Whats actually needed a generic nfo that can be posted with all things?
Should I leave room for Rlz info and crap like that?

Edit: Got a site logo done, but not sure which bits should be black and which bits should be white...
I'll let you see the thing - complain as much as you want about it - as I a bit clueless with any sort of style...
Edit2: Changed it all again?!?
