Files are missing in my flash drive?

I don't exactly know what's wrong but i think it's a virus because the computers in our school has them. Unfortunately, one of my classmates' flash drive that was infected opened her flash drive at my computer. Then, i can't seem to find the folder options and the task manager is disabled. Then, my flash drive was infected too and lots of my files went hidden but i can't 'unhidden' them because of the missing folder options. Now, i got avast antivirus. I scanned and i think removed the virus but the folder options and task manager still won't show up so i fixed it up manually with regedit but when i show the hidden files, my files in the usb are still not there. But the disk space on the flash drive was still the same like it has many files in it. What should i do?
 
Avast sucks.
Anyway you should format the flash drive and use a usb file recover to get back fotos and document files types , etc.
Anyway you won't be able to reuse your infected executable files
