i currently have a tank that i have fully cycled for around 4 months now.
i cycled it with a few neons which are still alive and well
anyway i would like to get 2 figure 8 puffer fish.( i know they cannot go in with the neons)
i understand they are brackish. but im not sure on a few things which are.
shall i get 2 males? 2 female? or a male & female??
also i have read about the marine salt i have to add but can i add it to my tank now?
or do will i have to empty the water and fill it from scratch again then add the salt?
but if i have to do that will the tank start to cycle again?
also how long after i put the salt in the tank can i add the pufferfish?
days? weeks?
