FICTION READERS: what is your favorite genre to read?

Science fiction, fantasy, action/adventure, detective, historical fiction, horror, mystery, romance, spy/espionage, suspense, western?
 
Fantasy
Science Fantasy (not SciFi...this would be more, like, Artemis Fowl. Magyk and Science mixed together)
Romance (on two conditions: it's mixed in with other stuff, and it's cute, not smutty)
Mystery
Occult

Of course, I'll read nearly anything.
 
Mystery and spy/thriller are my favorites - so long as they aren't too graphic with the violence and gore, also not too political.
 
I love literary fiction, award winning novels mostly, but I have to say that my book club has introduced me to lots of genres that I never thought I would enjoy. I have read westerns, romances, mysteries, sci-fi, historical fiction, horror, non-fiction, and have enjoyed most of them!
 
ooo. it would definitely have to be a tie between fantasy and romance.
the whole, true love, getting over obstacles thing [which will never happen in my lifetime] is really nice to think about.
And i love fantasy.. because... well. it's fantasy.
