Few questions about the Smasung F480 Tocco

Hi,

Just got my tocco. Got a few questions about it.

on the Images widget... I can't see the pictures I transfer to the memory card? I can only see them if I first set them as a wallpaper manually through 'My Files' in the main menu, after setting a photo/image as a wallpaper, it then appears when i scroll along the image widget, any help/ideas?

will I have to do that EVERY time I put new pictures on my memory card?

Is it normal for the F480, that when you laod new pictures onoto the memory card, they do not show up in the image widget?

the phone checks it's database only on some of the ocasions, uploading pics via BT or pc samsung studio, not always though e.g may update things on internal memory but not on the card, the conditions are in the firmware and cannot be changed, another soulution may be removing and inserting the card back
 
whereabouts in the admin menu can I find media update? I've looked but I can't find that option anywhere...
 
Ignore that. I found it.

But it didn't sort the problem, it seems if I get sent images by bluetooth, they go to the phone memory, and they appear in the image widget.

But when I move them to the memory card Images folder, they dissapear from the image widget. any ideas? could it be a problem with the memory card?
 
media update is in admin menu; storrage settings, that is how it looks like in z400

no, rather with the firmware, try taking out and putting back the card, it should reread mmc content and check then

Okay, I'm about to flash my phone with latest firmware anyways so I'll see what happens after that.

Okay I flashed my Tocco to the latest firmware but still it's the same... It's not a major issue but I'd rather find out if it's a fault with my phone or not.
 
Is it possible to change i setup the name of the photo while taking pictures, l mean is it possible to put some Word like Art and then after taking photos phone will naming all photos (Art1,Art2,Art3...) the default is Photo0001 l believe... so can this be changed?
