Fever for 5 days

I've had a fever ranging from 99.1 to 101.5 for 5 days with no other symptoms, Yesterday I felt fine all day like it was passed then at around 6:00PM I had 101.4 Fever. This morning it's back under 100 but I still feel a headache, either from being sick for 5 days or cause it will come back. Any advice would be helpful, but I generally hear any fever under 102.0 doesn't require medication, however, the duration worries me.

Sounds like you had a bug. Maybe the flu. Keep resting until the fever is gone for 24 hours and drink juices and water. Your fever is not that high to worry but keep on eye on your health. Check for a cold and check on your breathing.

Our family doctor always said any fever 101 and under is just burning off whatever bug you have and not to worry about it..especially in an adult. Take some tylenol, drink plenty of fluids. If it doesn't go away in a week go see your family doc. But it sounds like the local bugs that are traveling around making folks miserable.
